Hi. I'm Lauren.

My work is whimsically awkward or awkwardly whimsical. 

Many moons ago, I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from The Rhode Island School of Design and have been happily creating art for a variety of projects ever since including editorial, ad campaigns, publishing, and products ranging from greeting cards and stickers to activity books and even kid's luggage. I have taught illustration and design at RISD, Montserrat College of Art, and Maryland Institute College of Art Grad program. Currently, I am a full-time Professor of Illustration at Watkins College of Art at Belmont University in Nashville. Some of my favorite things include chocolate milk, dogs, and Philly rolls.
